over the years

The
founder of the Ceni jewelry stores - D Jose Antonio Ramos -
tried his fortune on both sides of the Atlantic before settling
down in Madrid, Spain to dedicate his life to the art of clocks.
In
this way he began a small modest business that was later to
grow into a prestigious family business.
His
accomplishments and dedication were passed on to his sons and
grandsons who were also interested in his occupation.
Today
we not only preserve the prestige and quality, but also the
spirit of authentic professionals in jewelry and clock art.
In
the 1930's Jose opened his first store, and in a matter of 10
years needed to move to a more spacious location in a more commercial
street. This new location in Garcia Paredes Street is where
we now service our customers and is only tens of metres from
where the previous shop was located.

The
postwar years where very difficult for the small store. The
chance of finding a variety of quality articles was small,
and this was especially so in the jewel and clock field. On
many occasions the only solution was to offer second hand
products. Two of these products shown here in the image are
an alarm watch and a table clock.Like
all second hand products, these were carefully inspected for
working quality before being sold and given a warranty to
reflect this.
Today
through our web page, clients can choose from 2000 products,
maintaining the same trust they are used to when walking into
the store. In the picture we have Dona Angeles Terrados, founder
and partner of our company.
